I feared the worst when they stopped cpr and then surrounded him with flags.
Really thought he’d gone.
So a miracle he’s awake.

Me too. I thought they had decided enough had been done and there was no point continuing.
I'm just so bloody glad he is conscious, and that there is hope.
Never want to see anything like that ever again, it was so distressing. Can't imagine what it was like for his family, and I'm glad they shielded his wife from seeing any more.
