I mean that's an incredibly stupid attempt to link a tragic event to a political fight between players and unions.


Christian Eriksen hasn't been over played, he's barely got off the bench for Inter Milan. 1600 minutes all season.

It's not to do with being overplayed, it's (almost always) a congenital heart defect that's almost impossible to detect - Eriksen like ever other Premier League player would have had heart screenings every preseason since Fabrice Muamba collapsed in 2012.

Procedures put in place after Muamba might have saved him. He won’t play again but not important in general scheme of things. Those medical staff are heroes.

Very true, I remember the silent helplessness of the Maine rd crowd watching Paul lake convulsing on the ground and Roy Bailey saving his life.It kind of puts everything into perspective.

Emotions are high after watching that.

I personally think it is completely reasonable to have issues with the ghoulish coverage.
I also think it is completely reasonable to ignore it entirely and focus solely on the players health.
*Touch wood* he seems like he'll make a recovery, which is fantastic.
