I couldn’t believe it when it was announced that the game was going to resume… but seeing it kick back off again has given me a right lift, I think it’s bloody brilliant!

Shows the collective spirit and cooperation of our species and why we’ve become the dominant species of this planet.

To go to opt out ( back to studio) they would have to make sure everyone was preped first then inform output they needed to go back to live studio.The quick option which never happened would of been for presentation to come out of the live match feed with a slide on screen and the continuity announcer explaining what was happening until they could go to Lineker and Co.

They would not have to make sure everyone was prepped, they could have cut from the host nation cameras to anything - replay, match freeze frame, test card etc. I have to be honest, I wasn’t watching but the bbc producer is answerable for the editorial decisions and his or her handling of this situation doesn’t sound good.
