Denmark v Finland | Euro 2020 Group Stage

It's sensible to say the players, who have just gone through a traumatic experience, shouldn't make the decision.

And did i disagree with that?

No, I pointed out how 20 posters felt the need to tell us UEFA were shameless for forcing the players to continue despite the fact it was absolute bullshit.

Because they'd rather have a pious rant about UEFA than actually read the news and see what's going on.

I've not made any rude or flippant comments about the sitatuation or the player.

What I've mocked is the need for you and a few others to show everyone how indignant you are about everything despite not having any knowledge of whats going on.

Castigating organisers because the players (who have spoken to their friend from hospital) asked to finish the match is just fucking stupid, and yet we get 20 people rushing to tell us how bad UEFA are for making them play on despite it being complete bollocks.
Also, I want to say. I was getting to worked up and emotional when responding to you, which can't have helped in any way so I apologise for being so confrontational about how I replied to you.

I appreciate that UEFA are really in an impossible situation as the players, including the one who suffered the injury, want to play on and there is limited time in the tournament to rearrange it. However, I just refuse to believe that those Denmark players (and probably the Fins too) are in a state of mind adequate for playing a European Championship football match.

They would not have to make sure everyone was prepped, they could have cut from the host nation cameras to anything - replay, match freeze frame, test card etc. I have to be honest, I wasn’t watching but the bbc producer is answerable for the editorial decisions and his or her handling of this situation doesn’t sound good.
As I said mate, the easy and quickest option was for presentation BBC presentation department London based to go to a slide and have the coutunity explaining they would be going to the studio ASAP. That ever happened.

Decision to continue was entirely the players decision not UEFA's. They wouldn't have done it without Eriksens blessing and in all likeliness with his wishes too so I don't see a problem with accepting their decision.

With regards to the TV broadcasting his treatment, it wouldn't have been in the bbcs hands, coverage is almost always outsourced. A decision to just cut the feed isn't an instant one, it will likely have to pass through half a dozen to a dozen people down the chain before anything actually happens and whilst it's easy for us sitting here to say obviously they should cut away, it's not an instant decision for these guys in the moment doing their job. Wasn't nice to see but I don't think we need a lynch mob.
