30 years ago today I was at G-Mex watching Depeche Mode. 30 years!!

Was a great concert, Dave was going through his junkie phase and I think the rest of them was a on some form of narcotics.
Martin singing Somebody was a highlight for me and I always remember Dave coming off stage at the end looking euphoric and high fiving the crew in the wings.

Seeing as I also really like Sisters Of Mercy, Crystal Palace was a doozy. I also lived a 40 minute walk away at the time which was very handy.

Great gig tonight, although the irony didn't escape me that when Dave was singing "let me see you make decisions without your televisions" during Stripped, the bloke in front of me was scrolling through content on his phone!

If you like Depeche Mode and they are playing near you then go - you will not be disappointed - worth every penny - they were superb tonight - end of.
