Imagine supermarkets not opening because they haven't got enough staff or say schools and doctors surgeries?
Sunday services are shit because the workers don't have to work overtime because they get paid enough not to, they are not "Compelled" to. You work in an industry at least show some effort to provide a service, people complaining isn't the problem is it?
Fucking fuming about the game and just got back but,
Schools and GP's don't operate on Sundays
Supermarkets is a funny one because 7 day working is a relatively new thing. They can get by with a largely flexible, part time and unskilled (no offence) workforce.
The railways, (train drivers, guards) can not operate with Sienna and Brad working a few hours at weekends for a bit of extra cash.
A lot of these trains aren't running on Sundays at present because the guards don't have to work so aren't.
The whole situation needs looking at but it won't change anytime soon.
The railways have moved to a 7 day working week but terms and conditions for staff and recruitment have not.
