Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

I guy at work was saying how Pep was shitting himself early in the second half when Rashford came on and that is why he put Fernando on and replaced Nacho, i explained that this was to maintain the control and dominance of the midfield and it worked. He then said would he have had the nerve to do the same if Aguero had been playing?

I told him if Aguero had been playing he could have put me in the midfield as we would have been out of sight at half time.

One or two had a go about the Bravo / Shrek incident, but I countered by saying it was a perfectly good one-footed tackle and adding that the granny-shagger shouldn't have been on the pitch by that stage.

On another note, I've heard that Dinho is still wondering what to do with the £100 million he found in his pocket on Saturday afternoon.
He could give it to the Rags so they can buy themselves a decent midfielder.

Just watching the match again ( 20 times and counting..) and on 50mins big nose gives otamendi a forearm smash from behind, just before he trips him up and gets a yellow. If you slow it down you see him clench his fist and goes right through the back of Nico. Any gif wizards on here fancy doing the slow motion thing of the incident? He definitely catches him with a flailing arm.
No-one seems to be wondering why nico got a head wound and aleks lost a tooth, the rags are dirty fuckers but we still beat then ha,beautiful, honest football won the day

That is class.

Just out of curiosity why is everyone calling Mourinho Peg? Mildly annoying
It's a pathetic attempt at a disparaging nickname for him. Intended to rival the GPC, purplenose etc that we used to have (still have) for Ferguson. In my opinion it just comes across as a bit pathetic and desperate and not in the least bit witty or funny.

There's no doubting Rashfords talent, however, when he came on at half time the rags were 2-1 down, when he went off at full time the rags were still 2-1 down. Hardly a game changing performance was it.

Has anyone found a report in any of Sunday's papers that even mentions the foul on Otamendi right on the goal-line?

Which was a nailed-on penalty!!!! Took Nico out from behind nowhere near the ball. Could not believe the 'commentators' not mentioning it.....
