He was having a poor game with the ball, very sloppy in the final third, clearly Pellers wanted to push on and try and kill the game with a second goal. I think bringing Dzeko on was the bigger problem, as he did absolutely nothing and then forced us to bring Aguero off for Fern when we wanted to become more solid.

Not my impression at all. Milner came off and the momentum went from front foot to back.
Well Dzeko came on about 30 seconds later, so I think it's tough to say it's definitely because of Milner going off. Brining Dzeko on levelled the game up at ten a side imo, he was completely invisible.

think the enormity of not getting the three points got to us with 15 minutes to go especially with their sending off and on the back of three poor performances It has to be said the substitutions did not help and were puzzling Really pleased with YAYA today he was the difference imho although have to say Shrek was good for them 2/3 nailed on penalties nearly cost us due to are recent bad run would have took this as I somehow didn't fancy us hopefully the win will put us back on track for all those blues whinging we have just won the derby ffs to many with short memories of being pasted in derbies past

Rooney was excellent. Really composed performance. A wonderfully comical dive as well.

I thought he marked Oliver well, he was never more than 3 yards away from him all game.

Get in there. Should of taken our chances better but 3 points is all that was needed.

Van gaals broken another record.

we made chances and as we were about to score sythed down. nothing given. mark my words they would have been given at the swamp.if not all 4 2 for certain.

Just on the way back but two things annoying me. First one is that cowardly shithouse of a ref. Just amazed he sent Smalling off. The second is how we surrendered our total superiority in the last 20 minutes and go into headless chicken mode again. You can put some of that down to the subs. Nasri or Fernandinho for the disappointing Jovetic would have been enough. But why take off Milner?
happy enough at the time nasri for jovetic(for me not the world beater some think he is). ,toure had a good game but looked fucked for the last 20.needed milner to help clichy as up to that point di maria not in it.gave rooney too much space to knock it about in the last 20.happy with the result but still have fundemental issues with set up and mentality.to end on the positive- derby win, waited long enough for a constant run of them ,never will get fed up of that .like to see the same back four given a few games together, fernandos break in the first half shows he isnt a one trick pony.enjoy a celebratory beer
