The rags may have signed some decent players; Schweinsteiger, Shneiderlin and Depay but they have already lost Van Persie, Falcao and it looks like Di Maria and De Gea will be leaving. We may not have splashed the cash as much as them but at least we are gong to be keeping our best players; Zaba, Kompany, Yaya, Fernandinho, Silva, Aguero et al. We are adding players to be stronger than last year whereas they seem to be replacing players.

Am I the only one thinking they're replacing the wrong players? They're reinforcing the midfield which is great, but where will their goals come from? They scored 62 premier league goals last season. 10 from Van Persie, 4 from Falcao, 4 from Di Maria. Are they going to load up the midfield and play only 1 striker all year long? Are they bringing anyone in? Promoting a youth player?

Apparently they are promoting Benzema from their youth academy.
