The interview wasn’t as bad and whilst Patel needs to be more polished, she’s not a fraction as bad as Abbott, in fact I’ve never seen a politician as bad as Abbott.

Patel is doing ok as Home Secretary and has now learned to just say she doesn’t know if she doesn’t have the figures, as the Covid-19 process proved when she hadn’t been given them by SAGE.

I think thats a fair comment, we do need to desperately reduce immigration numbers and her points system is brilliant.

Admitting that her parents benefitted from the old way but we now need to tighten things due to numbers is fine by me.

Her biggest success was in reducing shoplifting during the lockdown.
Oh and referring to COUNTER terrorism when she meant terrorism.
And her maths was a bit out when getting her thousands and millions mixed up.
Plus she was not very nice to some senior civil servants.
And in the past she did a bit of moonlighting in Israel.

There’s a difference between having a brain fart when reading some figures and trying to make them up because you do not have them, and getting them badly badly wrong whilst doing so.

Neither is great to be honest but Patel as Home Sec doesn’t keep me up at night, Abbott would do, she can’t even put the right fucking shoes on and think Mao should be celebrated.

Patel has made a couple of cock ups reading something through nerves, which she should do better on but she’s no Abbott.
