Again, what's the relevance of that? There are umpteen thousand failed asylum seekers here working at well below poverty wages, it doesn't make them legal because of that. Non EU migrants can't freely move around the EU, sanctioned by the EU, I fail to see what the point is.

Yes, there most certainly is, factories in Leicester paying £2-3ph attest to that.

Any evidence of this? Any reports of factory owners being prosecuted, or even warned by the council?
I might have believed it if you said they were paying a bit below the minimum wage and doing it cash-in-hand to avoid traceability, but not £2-3 ph.

Ms Abbott subsequently released a statement saying she wished to "wholly and unreservedly withdraw my remarks and disassociate myself from them".

Getting silly now what happened to being allowed to have an opinion. Don't like her or agree with what she is saying but she went out of her way to qualify what she meant.

You can’t mention the J word without expecting a backlash . It’s akin to mentioning Liverpool fans as anything but fun loving saints.
