It's true. Bar the all important 6-0 stat.

Just shows how stats only tell part of the story - a point made by many posters on many occasions.

They did have more of the ball,but we controlled the game,apart from the first 15mins or so they didn't really create anything,having more possession doesn't necessarily mean you were the better side,we let them play then picked them off at will ,I still pinch myself that I am watching some fantastic player's,long may it continue ,

So spurs had more possession and passes than us. That's because we let them pass aimlessly to each other around the half way line while we decided who would score the next one.

Seriously, those stats are exactly why football is best not analysed by statistics, except for the one that reads 6 - 0.
