I never had a problem with anyone defending the manager but a lot of stuff got out of hand and hopefully we won't have such a divisive debate again any time soon:-)

Well they had a bash over the summer didn't they ... the Barca Boys don't know what they're doing. Pellegrini's never won a trophy. Never managed in England. Some of them are still at it. I'm worried they're going to get lockjaw spending so much time posting through gritted teeth!

I think it speaks volumes that the number of that lot who come into these threads has slowly dwindled. They've seen the light and that's all that matters in the end ... ;)

The argument will win itself, as it always would, when another manager shows how good the squad really is.

Are there really people still actually arguing that Mancini should still be here? I'm not so sure there are mate. Overall it seems that even the staunchest Mancini supporters accepts that things couldn't continue as they were and for the good of the club a change had to be made.

No, because he was only sacked because of a conspiracy between the players, the chairman, the fans, the media, the tea lady and Sergei the bleeding meerkat, not because of his own inabilities.
