!?!?!? did we get knocked out of europe lastnight?

There is still everything to play for agreed, but there is no point dressing up last night as anything other than what it was. We were poor in general furthermore a handful of expensive "stars" were worse than poor, one of which betrayed our shirt.

Well, that result will certainly affect nexts week attendance, 1-0 or 2-1 loss would have made a huge difference but it wasn't to be.
Can't see many extra ticket sales on the back of that result especially at its a 6pm KO, so its a huge task to score 3, not concede and all in front of <25K crowd.

Not that bothered about the result - something has to give with our fixture congestion. What irks me is the need to play our best players who are knackered and the complete naivety of our tactics - Kiev must have been hoping for suckers - they weren´t disappointed. Should have sent the fookin EDS lads - Kiev aren´t much better than the Baggies frankly

This 100%. If we had played

Boyota,Boateng, Jo, Vieira, SWP, Guidetti and Wabara last night, I doubt we would have done any worse results wise.

Barry,Toure,Tevez,Silva,Kompany and Richards could have stayed at home,Rested up and been 100% ready for Reading.Instead they travel thousands of miles, get back to Manchester at 4am Friday and have to play again Sunday!

Surely staying in a hotel and getting sleep last night rather than flying straight back is more sensible. A Nice lie in, breakfast then off to the airport at midday.

take it thats another dig at mario, get off his back ffs

If we were 1-0 down like Liverpool i would say it was possible..

But i dont see City getting any more than a one goal advantage at Eastlands. To make things worse, Dzeko is misfiring.

So i will still, and always will, support City, but i honestly think its over for us in Europe.

If we don't concede then we have a good chance. We can beat Kiev 2-0.

The best news for us was Yussef getting booked because he was superb last night.

I'd say it's 60-40 in favour of them.
