Did we really get it wrong?

How can it be a cock up? What guarantee was or is there that we will ever score the exact amount of.goals we want in every match?

So much shite being spouted off here by a few whose reasons for.doing so are as plain as fucking day imo.

We just qualified with 15 points and 3 away wins, one of which was against the current holders and world's best club side.

Again, what fucking mistake has been made?

What are these plain as day reasons?

And who has said a goal was guarenteed if Pellegrini realised we only required a further goal to top the group?

We didn't bother researching the rules, because we had no intention of applying the effort required to win by 2 clear goals. Hence the team selection.

It would be a big mistake if it cost us. You can't prove it did. Just a cheap shot

It's dead simple, if Pellegrini didn't know how many goals it would have taken to win the group then it's a fuck up. Whether it cost us big is a question nobody can answer.

I agree with some on here that putting on Aguero would not have guaranteed a goal but by all accounts had he understood a very basic premiss then he would have put him on because he saw it as our best chance as getting the goal we needed.

Just posted this on another thread but it bears repeating:

BBC Radio 5 live summariser Chris Waddle
"I think out of the four English teams, Manchester City have the best chance of winning the trophy. I think they'll get a lot of confidence from winning away at Bayern Munich last night."

Sits back and waits the abuse/furore/drama!!! :-)

Can we all agree it's a very City thing to do and look forward to the draw on Monday?
I find it very endearing personally. A common view from the Opposition View articles has been that our club has lost its soul. Now, I've always thought that's bullshit. As far as I'm concerned, our soul is very healthy, and here's the proof. Typical City, as we live and breathe. I wouldn't have it any other way.
