Did you experience Trouble at Las Ramblas !

Didn't get any hassle in La Ramblas, but my mate said some bird undid his pocket on the metro on the way to the ground.

Your the scousers of Spain!

Enjoyed the whole trip, Barca does not disappoint. No probs at all, well apart for the Kraut sat behind me at the match. He asked me to sit down so he could see the pitch, just after the pre match training finished. Nothing on the pitch to see so I refused, he was'nt happy so I told him to f... off.
That is football when its the game for tourists, thousands coming along from their holiday resorts just to say they've been.
Imagine that at all your home games, wonder if any English clubs have this problem ??????

Prior to going to Barcelona on a family holiday we were warned about wallet pinching/muggings etc on Las Ramblas. Didn't think much of it. Then my Dad got his wallet pinched.

Good story actually...

We'd been on Las Ramblas for most of the day walking around and stopping every now and then to watch those people statues or whatever they're called. You know the ones where they lie perfectly still until you give them money. Anyway we was watching one and it suddenly moved, cue the young spanish woman in front of us jumping backwards. At that very moment my Dad held his hands out to grab, (as she would have fallen into him) he felt a tug on his pocket and his wallet was gone. Looked round and didn't see anything out of the ordinary, until we got to the police station and there was an Enlglish family in there who'd been done by the same thing....woman falling back, wallet gone.

Luckily it was all travellers cheques so we were ok. Proper upset my Mum though. Really wound up my Dad too. Was like something out of a film. Apart from that, beautiful city though.

I've been told, a favourite is for the local brass to walk down early hours of the morning and give you a flash of the norks and encourage drunk lads to have a grab and while they do it, their pockets getting dipped from behind.

So moral of this story is, stick your money in your sock and have a free fondle !!!!
