Didsbury

Quality place to live.

I have lived there twice and I used to go to many of the bars years ago.

Dont get out there to socialise much these days but work takes me there every week.

went to college at Fielden Park and spent quite a lot of time in Didsbury. Personally, i thought it was ok but it semmed to be full of Mick Hucknall type cnut's, but that was circa 1990. Is it still the same? or is it still full of ginger perm's, riding bike's past The Barleycorn whilst being abused by people like me?

do you think ? I used to live there too. I find many of the people who live there annoying, especially west didsbury.

It depends on what your contrasting it with Vincent.

I'd prefer to put up with an element of snotty gits than worry about getting home before dark like you have to in many other places.

I like Didsbury ........ you can't really say that it's 'under-rated' , it's always been looked upon as a 'happening place' , and would tv stars Richard and Judy have once lived there if it wasn't?

And you know what a poser Mr Madeley is!

Amanda Burton , once the star of Brookside also lived in the area at one time.

Maybe it's had to adjust a lot more to meet the students needs nowadays , but through good times and bad , Didsbury continues to be known as one of South Manchesters most fashionable suburbs.
