Thats about right, im not overweight really just wanted to get down to a more desirable weight, and doing this was effective but it does take dedication. But it also makes you realise just how many calories are in everyday foods, a portion of fish and chips for example is 2000 calories , thats your daily allowance! And even just a glass of pepsi 140cals. I cut out fizzy drink altogether too.

why is not eating after 7pm ridiculous u eat during the day the food gets digested when you are up and moving u eat in evening/night your food gets digested when u are sleeping not moving u as a result gain weight, he wants to lose weight.

Realistically, only if you eat carbs. Not eating from 7 o clock til morning will slow your metabolism down considerably and that is exactly what you don't want to happen if you're trying to lose wight. Advising someone not to eat after 7 is terrible advice
 
You have got to drink more water aswell, if you dont and become dehydrated the fat burning devices in your body are the first to stop working. 2 litres a day should do it.

Its all well and good sorting out your diet but you do need to go out and do some exercise - even a 20min walk after work would be amble every day.

Try not to eat Carbs after 7pm

Have a big breakfast that is going to be filling or releases energy slowly. Ideal combination is porridge (slow energy releaser) a banana (quick fast energy that will wake you up) and a low fat yoghurt. This will keep you going to lunch without having to or wanting to snack.

Eat more protein such as fish, chicken etc. It takes more calories to burn up protein than it does anything else.

If your a bloke try and start lifting a few weights, the more muscle you the more you burn calories.

Oh and walking backwards burns three times as many calories as walking forward. Try it around the house.

Thanks for that mate, Do alot of excersize football,running and Boxing just eat shiut aswell lol
 
Then you need to sort out your diet more than anything, if you do all that exercise and your still not losing weight then you have got to be eating loads of calories. Theres some good advice over the past few pages so try and follow it. A big one is try to cook as much as you can as opposed to eating processed crap. For instance if you like burgers, make them yourself. Lean Mince, mix it with onions, half an egg, garlic etc. Instead of a shitter McDonalds burger you have yourself a quite healthy one. It tastes miles better aswell.

Right well I'll be honest metabolism and all that dont know fcuk all about but do know someone who was looking to lose weight did this and well lost weight.
