I would say the opposite. His remit is to do the best for his client (which you said he was), not necessarily the club

I agree, but i also believe an agent has a responsibility to represent their players image and Seluk comes across as a total arsehole which has impacted Yayas reputation and potentially his ability to find a new club. If all Yaya is interested in is collecting cash, then maybe he has done his job well. If Yaya actually wants to play football as well as make a shed load of cash then his agent potentially has gone a long way to screwing that up.
