Dippers asking for trouble yesterday

I had a group of four trying to wind me up on the walk to ground... nothing serious but in the same breath trying to provoke a reaction when I was with my 8yr old son is pretty low... I hate Everton fans, not sure why they think their the moral guardians of football - a club with a serious chip on it's shoulder

I'm in 212 right next the aways and just below the Sky press box, after the Final Whistle when they were on the way out they were really trying to kick off with us one twat in particular was spitting at us.

I clanced up at the Sky box and saw Joe Royle watching the fuckers in disgust, then looked at me for a moment and I shook my head in disbelieve and he shook his head back.

He's been shaking his head at them ever since they robbed his wallet off him at Goodison years ago. Apart from it being wrong anyway, who in their right mind would do that to an ex star of theirs.

To be honest I dont know why anybody's surprised by this, anybody who's had the displeasure of going to there joke of a ground in the last few seasons will know they reserve there bitterness for us, there always at it, to them it's there yearly final an they can't handle loosing it . Shit club, shit manager never thought I'd say it but I prefer red scouse to that lot an that's sayin something

I think after the rag scum they are my second hated. Both sets of fans seem to have something in common! They exist!

Liverpool are ten times the club and ten times the fans these are, they have ten times more class too.

Oh and have won ten times as much.

How odd!

I've been on this forum many a time defending EFC (for various personal reasons!) but the current set up, the current manager (an apprentice Ferguson is ever there was one), the owner, and the current crop of players are impossible to defend. I think yer can add a section of the EFC crowd to that - shades of Millwall and the Stretford End at their worst.

The players they've had, Dean, the two Youngs, Roy Vernon et al must be shaking their heads at the dross that was served up on Saturday. There's a section on the EFC OS outlining the clubs history with the period 1981-2000 as the club's best - the present time must rank as the worst.

Pure vermin. On a different day i could of seen this scummy little tossbag coming, kicked him to gorton and ended up with no season card, a fine and a ban from all grounds. WTF were they doing in the middle of the home fans just after the final whistle

There was one in South Stand Upper who spent more time stood up to gesture at City fans than he did watching the game. He was bald and wearing a navy blue jumper. Anyone else see him?

What is it about them that winds us up so much? I'm not a violent person by any stretch of the imagination but I could cheerfully empty a flame-thrower into a stand full of Everton fans.

I will lend you one from work if you like?
