and that post absolutley stinks, i've had to cancel meetings, have days off and work my bollocks off to get to cup games this season, every single cup game, so my loyalty to the club by turning up to every cup game is not as loyal as those who can sit back, give their credit card details and just turn up with ease?

I am not being smug at all but the indignation coming from those that haven't benefitted is as myopic as any smug-ness coming from me.

I also had to work my arse off. Why didn't you join the scheme? Can you not see why City have a scheme? Can you not think that those on it should be rewarded?

Interesting thread...gonna hit 100 pages this one...Having stewed a little, I do think I'll get a ticket, and having felt a bit pissed off that having attended all the cup games and been a SC holder I will be further down the line and have less of a choice, I can now sum up my current feelings thus....I should've joined the Cup Scheme ;) Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The difference being. Those that joined the cup scheme at the start of the season committed their money to the club in advance. That money was taken out by direct debit and has probably made the club more money in interest. IN essence the club is rewarding those fans for that and for turning up to every cup game.

As I've stated. Go to the ticket office and make that point. They have your attendence and points on the system.

They didn't commit any money to the club, they could of joined the scheme and had no home cup games to go to. The money only goes out of the customers account when cup games go on sale, at the same time everyone else pays money to buy their tickets.

You are another one who is delighted at this news because you are a member of the cup direct scheme, put the boot on the other foot ffs and stop being selfish and see what a terrible idea this is by the club, you either reward everyone who went or no one at all.

Check out the CityCard thread, there appears to be plenty and they use the same argument you do. They didn't have money in their account last April. Yet you call them stupid. Can you not see the irony in that, especially as you have been to every cup game, why didn't you just join the scheme?

As for you've "still been more" [sic] - then you won't have a problem choosing a nice seat at Wembley as you have loads of points.

Mansour spent/lost over £100mill last year on City. He has a every right to claw that money back and to eventualy make a profit. He is not a charity.

United fans do not have a choice. They have to join the cup scheme.

City fans do have a choice. They can either join the cup scheme or not. If they don't they will still get a ticket, but will not have first jibs on the tickets or on the seats they prefer.

Under those the circumstances, I think Mansour has every right to do what he wants.

agree totally that that our owners have the right to recoup some of their money but this manouvre is coming far too late in the day. i would be happy with it if it was to start next season, with a level playing field.

That's a fair point. City need to work on informing the fans about such things much more.

They should stick to it next season and announce it on the OS site. That way every fan will have to make up their minds.

To be honest, I and quite a few on here thought that was the case anyway and that cup scheme guaranteed a semi and a final ticket. It is only from this thread that I found out we weren't (though we now are)

The cup scheme this year has already rewarded people with 700 points this year( in both cups) which is 5 years worth of season cards, and now they will be rewarded with a que jump to the semi?!!! Yes I would, my Mum and Dad will probably miss out as they have not done the cup games this year (except the Europa league 3 games). They will probably not get a ticket but have had season cards since COMS opened. Gutted for them, my Mum's health is not the best and this may be her only chance to get to Wembley to see City, but even she thinks those that turned up for all the cup games should get to go before she does. They will just have to wait and see if they can get them

We all know ST's have and always will get priority over citycard holders.

Why don't cup scheme members get priority in other away cup games but the club just give them priority for Wembley?

How do warrant it as anything like 'disgraceful'? There's an argument against this i can understand, but there's an argument for it which is also pretty robust.

In this particular case, it's really quite irrelevant. If you've got any kind of history following CIty, our ST numbers against our allocation means a ticket should be guaranteed.

Anyone sweating (let's not forget we've got criteria which goes though all ST holders on the OS) can't have been to too many matches.
