No. Just fucking no. You are the biggest clown on here. I'm one alcoholic ****, but at least I know my shortcomings...you're just sad.

I like being different..I'm not a sheep.I form my own opinions about what I watch week in week out.
Do you think I care if you like me,if rammy likes me or not???this isn't the school yard you immature tool.
You accuse me of something and then cant back it up,probably because of being pissed if the above is true.
If we had lost at spurs..chelsea and arsenal id agree with the performance side of things..cardiff,villa and stoke..this is what my issue is,now take off those blue tints just for once..fuck all has changed so far on the pitch..great at home..shite away.
Facts are there in black and white.shame many cant see it.

Come on F.F.S. At this point it should have nothing to do with blue tinted glasses.

10-1 in the League at home (15-1 if you add the Wigan game). Away; yes it's Cardiff , Stoke Plzen and Villa, BUT FFS ....we are 4 f***ing away games in with a new Manager and new System! That's not being realistic, that's just negative. Villa beat Arsenal. Stoke and Everton made Liverpool and Chelsea look bad away.
If the results don't improve at West Ham and Chelsea and beyond you had a point ... but not yet.

I have never once said it is to do with our home form. This is and always has been solid.
The bit in blue is what is concerning-Our away form. As I said if it was Spurs,Chelsea etc I would have the new system, new manager argument but in reality it isn't. True it is a competative league however if we want to win it,we have to beat the so called lesser teams and this is not being disrespectful.

And the same with the inners

Great post by the way TGR :)
There are no 'outers' and no 'inners' any more.

Since may its just been 'losers' and 'winners'.

Still pining for 'Jose' are we Dismal?

pining present participle of pine (Verb)
Verb
Suffer a mental and physical decline, esp. because of a broken heart.
Miss and long for the return of.

20 mins catching up with this thread and all I can say is im glad iv been busy as I would be staring at a very long ban right now had I been on!

Fuck me we have a couple of weapons posting on here at the moment.......

We should have been looking to get 7-9 points from the away games we have played in the league, they are all sides we should be beating. It is frustrating to follow up great results with an away defeat. A win is worth 3 points no matter who we play. It is embarrassing despite all that the players have said about moving forward from the derby, that we haven't done so. Our away form has been shocking for a while now we rarely play well and don't dominate as we do at home. The transformation in the team from playing at home to playing away from home is startling. Poor defending and individual mistakes have been punished which is what happens in the premier league, we haven't conceded many chances but we have been punished when we do. To concede 3 goals to Cardiff and to Villa is simply poor, we have scored twice in each game and that should have been enough for us to win. When we go 1-0 up in games that should be the end of it. The players need to pull their fingers out, the mentality needs to change. The manager needs to give them a kick up the arse and tell them to sort it out. Rotating the squad is important but it is early in the season and everyone should be fit and raring to go. Pellegrini will still be experimenting and working out what team works best and I have faith that he can solve our issues, he is meticulous and detailed and will get to the bottom of our issues i am sure. He normally sets his sides up so that they work hard and don't get beaten easily. He will be baffled by the away form based on how good we are at home.

I am not making this a Mancini or Pellegrini argument, the teams that both managers have put out have been good enough to win away games. We are a better side than Arsenal, but they have excellent away form. Villa have been exceptional away from home too for the last few months of last season and this season. It is about mentality and about spirit. Being hard to beat, absorbing pressure, quitening the crowd and getting a foot on the ball and controlling the game. Arsenal struggle at home more because sides defend well and they struggle to break them down. Away from home teams push forward more against them and they can therefore break them down more easily. The players we have are more than good enough to be winning most games away as they do at home. Navas should be a player we use away because he is an outlet with his pace. I fully believe Pellegrini will sort our away form and I am more annoyed/disappointed than angry. The season is early and we need to kick on, another away defeat against West Ham and I will start to ask more serious questions. The league is there for the taking and we are the most settled side in terms of core players and the best side. With the issues other teams are having we should be capitalising and putting a marker down.

We begin a run of tough games now, Bayern, Everton, West Ham and Chelsea. Teams we will struggle to beat. We need to win them given our previous away results in order to challenge. Whilst it is a season where the manager will make mistakes and has to learn his best formations etc, I would expect him to learn quickly. But I also put a lot of the responsibility on the players, they clearly dont have the right mindset, both Mancini and Pellegrini have put out strong sides that have failed to perform. Pellegrini needs to sit the players down and get them sorted on this front.

It's saddening. I would have liked for the arrival of a new manager to be a rallying point and the forum to be a bit less divided but it seems the opposite has happened and it has gotten even worse. It seems we can't discuss football without a sideline bitchfest.

If he wants to challenge in the PL he needs to re-think the balance between attack and defence. If we were anything like as solid at the back as we've been in previous years we'd be top by now. Wenger has recognised that a solid back four with enough goals is the right formula. The team with the best defence will win the title - it won't be about who scores the most goals. Looking ahead to Everton, I'd definitely play Lescott at CB to go against Lukaku.

Stan,
That is a far to accurate and sensible post for 'The Cabal' members (and also the junior / wannabee Cabal members) to understand or accept.
However, as Billy Shears has now stated it's not about 'winning' anymore. Thats not important. Its the way you play...
FFS! YCMIU.

I personally think we are playing better football, than we did at any point last year. The results will start ticking over.

Its a point scoring, cock measuring contest and its so fucking boring its untrue mate.

The away form is poor and its been poor for a long time now but the performance against Villa was dominant and defensive mistakes aside, i took a lot from it and enough to suggest to me that we are very close to turning that poor form around.

Agreed.

It's pretty sad that the same posters are still having the same arguments even now. It's getting to the stage where we're going to have to start locking threads just to stop the bitching. Let's keep it civil and on topic please.
