I wonder how our injury record this season stacks up to last season. I feel like we've had a lot of big players missing for large chunks of the season so far.

One thing I've noticed is that Chelsea seem to have had a decent season on the injury front, never seem to have more than one out. Could do with them picking up a couple today, let's hope Lesley gets his boys to give them a kicking.

Pellers substitutions yesterday were top notch, although he definitely got the selection wrong in the first place. Micah, Dimi and Lescott in the same defence is just asking for trouble. I looked at the bench yesterday and couldn't think of anything aside from Fernan on for Rodders, Jovetic on for Dzeko and Vinny on for anyone for a bit of leadership. He changed the game completely with his tactical shuffle and Watford barely got out of their half, the gap in class between Zabba and Micah is worryingly evident now by the way. I tip my hat to The Engineer yesterday because he got it wrong but still managed to put it right.

I also wonder how long this thread gets before the usual suspects revert to petty point scoring and childish insults.

Agree. For me without Hazard's pace and quality they'd slip down the table quickly. He's the key for them.

I think he is great seeing he didn't have a proper full pre season under his belt with the team,if he can just tighten up the defence then we are unstoppable.its clear to see that as the more the season goes on the better the players are responding to him and raising there game and working as a team and not talented individuals like the last two seasons.

Whats wrong with getting behind our manager? Fuck jose, he is a top manager but is a bad egg. Peller's has got us playin unbelieveable football, 19 games unbeaten and currently sit above jose's chelski. Whats not to like and you think about mourinho....

That really is asking for trouble, playing two England internationals who were half of a title winning defence and an Argentine international that has won the German title together against a Championship side.

Everyone knows I wanted Mourinho to replace Mancini, but there's no way I would swap. No way. Pellegrini is exactly what we need: a man who can make a squad into a team. He's already done that in spades, and you could see it in the second half yet again.

Richards doesn't suit what we do tactically now. Maybe with game time he will, but you would think he would pick up on something in training.

Both Lescott and Demichelis are great lieutenants to Kompany's captaincy. Neither of them seem to be the leader for the back line.

I don't really see the problem with what PMS has said especially as you don't rely on past years' performances to determine the present.
