Who do we get in then??
GIve the man a chance ffs

He's had his chance. Pellegrini is the very definition of nearly man. He's always the bridesmaid never the bride. He just doesn't have the ability or knowhow to win the big prizes in football.

This.

Pelle is way too passive to win us the league or late stages CL. Just far too passive, misses the obvious points. Had he been more active by the sideline we would have won Sunderland.

Yes mate, we need someone who is militant on the sidelines. Someone with a backbone. Not a granfather figure like Pellegrini .

One of the biggest negatives against him is that he has turned a solid defensive unit into a very shaky one with his tactics

Individuals have got the blame but overall its down to his tactics........even Kompany has looked weaker this season as has zabba diving in all over the place

We can't go sacking the manager every time we fail to win the title.

For all the talk and PR, his first season has been a bit of a let down.
But he has to be given another to get it right.

Simeone. His players treat every big game like life or death. 3 points clear of Real and 4 clear of Barca with a vastly inferior squad.

Our players wouldn't.

Agreed. Those who won't need to go. Pellegrini is laid back just like the players, he can't recognise it in them. Bring in someone who can see it and will fix it.

Thought we'd finally start seeing our team playing as greater than the sum of it's parts and that's a level we can only dream of at the moment.

I honestly think we have a bigger and more worrying problem than the manager though; We simply don't have nearly as many good players as we think. Mentally weak, injury prone, lacking technical capability, an accusation you could level at more than one or two.

Maybe Mancini and Ferguson had it right after all? You have members of the dressing room throwing their toys out because the manager is mean then fuck them off, because it certainly doesn't look like they're capable of much better with a hug and a friendly smile. Seen an endless list of familiar problems this season and the constant factor isn't Mancini, Pellegrini, Txiki or Soriano, it's the players.

We can't sack Pellegrini and we shouldn't, but at the end of next season these players should have delivered, properly delivered, and if they haven't a new manager should be one of the last things to look for.

The squad has problems but a top manager would be able to win the league with this squad.

We seriously need a top manager in ASAP. Benitez or Van Gaal. I'd take Van Gaal if he;s available.

Agreed! Pelle just doesn't know how to win. Its frustrating watching our team waste time in the first half, happy with 1-0 against Sunderland at home and does nothing. Disgraceful. We are the highest paid sport club in the world with array of talent, how can this be allowed to happen?!

Do you really think the players want him in charge for another 12 months ?

The same players that threatened to leave last season will threaten to leave again this season.

We need to get some more that will then, regardless who the manager is.
