Yes, you´re right. I´m from Chile and Pelle always said, he will be some day our national coach. He just have not done so, because of our poor board association, that always has appointed the "trendy manager" of our local ligue, and not investing in some experienced one, as they did with Bielsa, who was rather an exception to that.

So Pelle basically said, he will be waiting for the right moment, with the right generation of players, and to see some stability in our footbal autorities to start to think about taking our team. And I think, he will be do it, for sure.

Thanks for the knowledgeable info, that was my thinking on it too. But Sampaoli is actually doing great at the moment, right? And he is Bielsa's successor and follower in terms of playing style (both even met at Newell's as youngsters!), so he fits in well at the moment. Pellegrini differs a bit from them I think, although he seems at times at least as romantic as Bielsa. :D

Fergiscum retired voluntarily.
I Iike Pellegrini, he's a decent man & a good manager, but this is a huge mistake by City. A manager who everyone knows is leaving after this next season Has no chance of motivating the players, players will get away with what they can , even the best ones. A manager in his last year has more chance of plating blancmange than getting the best out the players.

Funny enough I had this conversation about pellers a few weeks ago with one of my clients who I carnt name but spends a lot of time with the England team!

He said pellers is a nice bloke on TV and to the press but he is a grumpy old git to the players behind closed doors and lost the dressing room back in January over issues which I carnt go into.

The only reason he hasn't been replaced yet is the man they want is not available till next year and it's hard to get a top manager for a year!
