The chairman was at the game and i have no doubt there will be a meeting behind closed doors tomorrow to discuss that shambles with the manager and players, something that should have been done a couple of months ago if it didn't. I doubt with 6 or so games to go he will sack the manager but that will depend if he thinks he can get us enough points to cement the top four place,because trust me that isn't a formality anymore! Southampton and the dippers will smell blood and we have to play Southampton yet. At the moment i don't feel confident about winning one more game,especially away.

As most say it's sad to say it but he has to go now . Get Vieira in now and stick with him don't want Ancelotti to come in for 2 years then changing again.

Does anyone now trust him to get us into the top 4? The wheels have definitely fallen off and decelerating towards the finishing line. I can't think of a reason to retain his services.

Really think Txiki and Soriano find themselves with a nightmare scenario.
They brought in Pellegrini for 3 years till Pep was free. Last season was superb this season, has been slowly teetering towards disaster.
The initial plan was to keep Manuel till next summer. I'm guessing after recent results they were looking for a plan B for next season. After today we need an immediate change. Top 4 is at serious risk as quite simply too many players won't play for him anymore. A change of manager might make a difference. Doing nothing will simply see us slide into 5th.

Its not heart and desire thats missing.
Its training, conditioning and preparation which is missing.
That comes down to poor management and the result having a transfer policy which has left us with a load of 28+ breeding a culture of complacency.

Yep, they have an dilemma alright. They should give Kidd and PV the rest of the season, see how they do. If they do well, give them a season.
