Same old shit.

We'll win comfortably at Norwich on Saturday and this board will be full of people saying how fantastic we are and how Pelegrini is a gentleman who is underrated before losing points again against a half decent side next Wednesday.

Same old shit.

It was a pity he left but would he have been a regular starter at City after Dinho's arrival?

Fair point. Ferny took time to settle in his first season. Average last after the world cup but head and shoulders our best player this. But GazBaz offers different things and a 3 of Toure, Ferny and Barry would cover most eventualities in different games.

We played more of a 433ish thing with DeBruyne dropped, no Silva & just Bony as a target holding the ball up. Sterling played a blinder running off & Navas ran his balls off. Looked a real top side imo. Then he binned it because we were lacklustre at Villa & we never saw it again.

best we've played all season. Skill, pace workrate.

100% on the money but he won't do it because navas and sterling are a must and he will not drop kdb or silva or try one of them in toures place, so he does what he always does and plays silva, toure and kdb, two of them out of position and the other who doesn't have the legs anymore

He had got rid of the ball before he had received it- totally agree fella, a great passer who didn't fit into a so called possession based managers ideal ?

We ended up with a **** like Fernando instead.
We've had Rodwell García Fernando and Delph. None are as good as Barry.

That sub!!

Was KDB off, Silva to the left, Yaya pushed up and replaced by Fernando to play alongside Ferndinho.

Perhaps with 4 minutes to go he thought Yaya might produce another moment, or was sick of Everton being able to keep the ball so easily and put someone who can tackle in there.

I think he deserves some slack on that and also made his subs early as was obviously unhappy with how it was going.

All those who say sack him now, don't understand the way our club works, what a situation that would be especially if Pep is coming end of season.

Yes, it does seem best for all parties to part company after this season but in the meantime it would crazy!

He probably has target of CL Quater final, probably league or at least top 2 (with a cup won). He is in with a good chance of both of these at the moment so why cause chaos and spend time looking for a new possibly interim manager who is far from guaranteed to do better.

It is probably the same posters last year advocating the sacking of the Barca duo (despite one being more commercial then on field related). Again if Pep comes that would never have happened without them and any sacking would have been very short sighted.

Silva for most part was played out of position again and he was poor, aguero was given next to no service and had a quiet game however he isn't playing in central midfield where most harm is done from a terrible game
It hasn't mattered where Silva was played. He has had blinders for City playing anywhere. He is simply in a funk.

Disgrace with this mate, silvas played left mid numerous times, he even plays as a winger for Spain. Aguero had a quiet game (it happens) but when he had chances he failed to take them. Imo everyone bar ota had a shit game, don't think it's fair to single out one player

I was watching him closely because I adored him at City. When in possession makes a short dash forward to find space, or simply stands still in the space. Excellent first touch enables him to look up and execute pass after pass like a metronome. Out of possession always gets goal side, presses, wins the ball back quickly. Just superb. Shameful that we allowed a player of that quality to leave.

He is a master of spatial occupation; he doesn't need to tackle half of the time, he just diverts attacks into more manageable areas. Never seen a player like him, it only became obvious how lazy and defensively inept Toure is when he left; he literally carried him for 3 years and allowed him to impact going forward.

I'd love him back here as a squad player for a couple of years once we appoint a proper manager.
