Got a horrible, horrible feeling he's going to start Yaya and Fernando in a 2 man midfield tonight.

It's never worked in a league game, the 4-1 home demolition by Liverpool was the last time he tried it.

Delph has to play tonight. Whether in a 3 or a 2, we cannot afford another disaster of the manager picking Yaya and Fernando in a 2.

No amount of "trust" will make those 2 have enough energy and legs to cover the ground required.

Before the Liverpool game I said it was a massive mistake to start with Yaya and Fernando. They'd played together many times last season and been awful.

I've said it many times about them not being a suitable partnership in a 2, and been accused of "hindsight".

I'm not having a dig at Pellegrini, this is just me showing foresight.
