We dont play Dortmund or Shalke so to try and use a fixture we cant play as proof of an argument is ridiculous.

We do however stick 5 and 6 past sides we do play quite regularly. Bayern dont play them but it doesn't mean they are shite and unlikely to do the same.

They are top of the league and playing well, it would appear they are not distracted by speculation. I do not think our players are distracted, I think our manager picks the wrong ones in the wrong system on a far too regular basis

I think United are fucking dull to watch but their manager clearly has a plan to get results. Can you honestly say that our manager plans for every game because, although he must do, it doesn't look like it at times

I would like a manager who gets the best out of players for 50+ games a season. I would be able to stomach the odd reverse against a slightly more ambitious and adventurous team, coupled with the shenanigans of an opticallly-challenged referee. But I find that defeats at home to sides who are nothing to write home about, and shipping four goals in games against mediocre attacks takes a bit of swallowing. It shouldn't be happening. After the Spurs game, blatant offside goal aside, then a Villa side that had four knocked past them yesterday, and finally our performance yesterday I am quite a way down the line from a manager who would get the best out of the players. Which player produced his best yesterday? Not one single soul. Fabulous Delph set off with points to prove and his arse on fire, but by the end of the game he had contracted the 'ennui' so redolent of some of the players after about seven minutes in!

3 at the back with Kolarov in midfield?
That'd be even worse than what we got.
As I say I wouldn't have picked the effing team we started with.
But with that line up, for most of the game our defenders were marking nobody. Each part of the defence was just overloaded
in turn by a team of pressers. One way out would have been to go 3 at the back and push an extra man into midfield to give additional passing options going forward. Mangala can play left back and Sagna can play centre half. Mangala spent most of his time out on the left anyway when Kolorov was overloaded.
At least it's an attempt at something rather than sitting on your arse for 40 mins while we ship 3 goals.

You're all city supporters Pellegrini is City manager. You must agree he cannot win every game, although he would love to. Stop fuckin moaning and let him get on with the job. At the seasons end we haven't won anything then get on his back and apply for his job. Otherwise shut the fuck up and stop acting like spoiled brats.

This "best squad" IMO is mythical. We have some great names on our ledger, many of which are past their sell by date and need replacing.
I think that's a bit unfair, we do have the best squad in the PL, but sadly we haven't had the squad for most of this season, as at various times, again, we've had multiples of our best players unavailable. I don't think "many" (or even any) are past their sell by date, but injuries are seriously costing us now, we have one or two nearing that date, but they're not there yet imho.

If/when we can feature all our best players, we can't fit them all into one team, but if/when we do, we'll likely go on a great run.

He has won just under 65% of his games with us so of course he has a plan to get results.

I'm as angry as anyone after that debacle and Pellegrini fucked up but so did the players out there who regardless of system employed just didn't turn up.

Back to Bayern though fella and its just not right to try and compare them to us in any way shape or form domestically as its a different league and different opposition, its pointless to do so.

Im not disagreeing with your opinion that the manager is making mistakes, rather the use of Bayern to back up your argument.

Do you think he only plans for games that we win then?

I'd play delph before Fernando any day of the week, last season he was cr*p and this season he isn't much better. For a holding defensive midfielder the amount of 50/50 tackles he misses is way to high ( just watch him)

Fernando is OK with Fernandinho but is a disaster with YaYa. He can defend but he can't do anything creative with the ball from deep other than to pass the ball to another City player. With YaYa giving up on defending since his return from ACON that only leaves a pass back.
