Yes,lazy overpaid players, they dont give a fuk and have no bolox for a scrap(Delph aside),they have no challengers and know they will be picked week in week out...lazy bastards and a severe cull is needed inc the Manager.

We need a team and manager like athletico madrid. They give it 110% every match despite who they play and their players would die for their manager.

A manager who doesn't tolerate lack of effort would help too, not someone who sits on their arse doing fuck all when getting beat and waiting for someone to do a piece of magic and score goals.

Yep and as i and many others have said, get Diego.

Who would you have picked?
Delph, instead of fernando. Kelechi should have started, considering he offers us way more than Bony, would have been an easy decision to justify too since Bony started midweek for whatever reason. In hindsight its easy to say give Humphrey the chance over Demi but im not going to use that against Pelle though. But then again Demi shouldn't be anywhere near starting in our team when we play a high line with little support from midfield, therefore maybe not even in our squad. Subbing of Silva was diabolical. Going 2-0 down in the 15th min, using all our subs in the 65th, and the only real chance we had all was De Bruyne's right after the first goal. That is weak managing, he seems to have absolutely no idea how to counter a good opposition gameplan.

While Pellegrini frustrates me at times with odd team selection / tactics etc, he epitomises what Manchester City are trying to portray off the field in being Calm / Collected and to coin the phrase Holistic Approach. In the business world - they are some of the most important qualities so as to ensure you dont have knee jerk reactions to something.

I much prefer the Pep style of calm, collected and cool as fuck, rather than the Pellegrini version of having no personality whatsoever.

So we put up with shite and potentially another trophy less year in the weakest premier league in memory on the premise pep is coming?

What do we do if/when he doesn't come?

As for playing attacking football we might mistake being wide open defensively for attacking but I haven't seen us play high quality attacking football in a long time. Having the ball a lot doesn't mean we are threatening.

Same old excuses and deference to pep and txixi trotted out again as we continue to under perform. If txixi buys the players sack him cos they ain't performing the one he bought anyway. If pellegrini can't manage them sack him. But whichever way you cut it things are not going well. I don't care that we are 3 pts off top 3 pts are 3 pts and on current form that gap will get wider quickly.

On Saturday he made like for like subs didn't change anything! The guy lacks personality and so does his team. I hope he's gone Wednesday morning.

Can you explain a potentially trophyless year? Surely we do win or we dont win trophies. I'd prefer to judge our manager at the end of the season.

The last 2 years and this one so far.

City; Manuel PL x 1 LC x 1 2nd x 1 Currently 3rd.
Chelsea; Jose PL x 1 LC x 1 3rd x 1 Currently 14th.
Ars; Arsene PL x 0 FA x 2 4th x 2 Currently 2nd.
Utd; LVG PL x 0 Cups x 0 4th x 1 Currently 4th.
Moyes PL x 0 Cups x 0 7th x 1 sacked.
Liv; Rodgers PL x 0 Cups x 0 2nd x 1 sacked.
Klopp to soon to mark.

Can somebody explain why City want their manager sacked? Or is it a few trigger happy fans trying to rock the boat mid season. Im very unhappy when City lose but I think some perspective is needed.

WHAT!! Do you ever watch the interviews? He gets loads of laughs from the journalists. He's very clever. Just because Pep shops in Versace doesnt make him anything special. Its football not a bloody fashion show you wally.

I am personally quite confused about Pellegrini, and not sure at all about what to do. This season's games in Sevilla and against the Rags I thought, showed that he was learning tactically, and was prepared to adapt. Then we get Liverpool and Stoke, where all the lessons from Sevilla are completely gone, and worse, it looks like the players aren't even trying. The latter is probably the worst, well for me it is, and I have had this impression regularly since the beginning of last season.
But as I have said earlier in this thread, firing a manager only makes sense if there is someone better available. There might be, but if Pep is coming next summer, and I think all indicators on this forum points in this direction, it will not be easy finding someone to take the job for half a year.
