The line that grates me more than anything during Pellers reign as City manager is 'We only have 13 players available'... He should be saying, like any other manager would, even the shit ones, "we only have 13 players available...but i have faith in our very talented kids to stand in where required'. Even if its just a nice, vague platitude and he didn't mean it, he should say it. Cos its the right thing to do as its motivational. Yet he pretended they didn't exist, despite most of them training with the first team often. Why? Its genuinely borderline offensive to them. They don't deserve to be treated as invisible. Yet he's moaning about injuries. It's bad man management and, sadly, quite eye-opening to how he views the young players he has at his disposal.

I don't hate Pellegrini. I think he is a good manager, i just think he has some massive flaws that will prevent him from becoming a great manager. At the same time, i don't think we should sack him now either. Summer though, nah - he's not the man for us and id be happy to see him move on.

We can't really sack him now whatever if Pep is coming in summer. (Cheers for another great report on the blog btw).

Depends on the moment .

It's all ??????????

With Manuel

3rd season with us and it's all about the moment .

Perhaps we'll communicate again in the future when you have a better understanding. Until then.

Toodle pip "our kid"
Then again perhaps we won't. You sound like a lost cause so it'll be a fruitless task on my behalf trying to educate someone who's obviously dead from the neck up.

With ignoramus fanboys like you, Pellegrini doesn't need outers to pull apart his reputation as you're doing a better job than any of them ever could 'Our kid' :-)

You say any other manager mate but I've just quoted every managers stats in the PL and we have the best one. So where is the problem? It seems like fans want us 10 points clear all the time and winning every trophy and top of CL group etc etc. Where do all the other teams come into the equation? We cant buy 500 players so that every other team is crap. Even then that wouldn't work as the players playing at other clubs would improve over time. Their is a great little saying regarding Manchester City and its fans..'keep the faith'.

Lol ok, vardys better than aguero

You are so consumed with hate you are unable to see the wood for the trees.
Well, in some respects we do play that way. Sterling, silva and Kdb/navas push forward/ play high to form the top three leaving yaya to facilitate the play, supported by Fernandinho and Fernando/delph. All on top of the back 4, where kolarov and Zab/sagna go forward with possession.

I think Pellers plays an organic form of football and does not buy into 442 or 433. I also think the same is true for Pep (although admittedly I have seen his teams less)

No tactics. No passion. No thanks.
Reckon it's time to say goodbye to Mr Pelligrini. I feel( and not on my own) we've gone backwards under him.Mark Hughes was a better manager! Knew how to get his side to defend. Pelligrini seems totally clueless at times..strange team selections subs no plan b if things are going wrong. Mancini had faults but this guy just baffles me. Plays a man slower than a tortoise in centre of defence...Dermichaelis and his obsession with Yaya Toure who hasn't been playing well for over a year now is just ridiculous. You pick your best side for every game and try to win every game Pelligrini changes for the sake of it. Yaya hasn't warrented his place in side for last dozen games yet he doesn't get dropped? De Bruyne aside his signings have been poor...sells Dzeko loans out Jovetic ? Then panic buys Bony. Think his time is up..sack him now and maybe the 4 possible completions we are still in might result in a trophy...remember last year same situation and out due to his messing with team at home to inferior sides...wouldn't see Chelsea or even Utd doing that . Missed out on Klopp ? Sorry for rant but fed up of this poor football..got used to goals and decent stuff under Mancini...should never have sacked him!

Just curious mate. There are many many posters wanting rid of certain players as they are deemed "not to be good enough", Willy, Bony, Fernando, Kolorov, Clichy, Navas to name a few. That view seems to be totally indeependent of how Pellers sets us up i.e. the player isn't simply good enough. Is this list of "outstanding bunch of players" not as big as we would hope? Gen question btw.
Plus, the 37 injuries.

Don't like slagging any City manager or player and will try to avoid that...but Pelligrini stretches my patience with his garbage football and constant team meddling. Change for injuries ok! But not a winning side to give someone a game...which he does a lot. First 6 games he left team alone and we were strolling along..then ! All change! What gets me is he puts players into the CL side that can't get a game in Premier ? His signings have mostly been poor and how long have we to wait for a decent centre half in the Kompany mould? His two defensive midfielders isn't working especially if one is Yaya who won't tackle? Feel we've really gone backwards in last two seasons under Pelligrini . Hopefully he will be sent on his way in summer before we slump further!

Would love to know whose decision it was to have only three strikers , in reality only one striker , because he doesn't class Kelechi as a striker and the other one doesn't like running about . If it's the manager then he has created his own problems , if it's Tixi then he has hung the manager out .
