Is it though. His first year hear we saw City playing sublime football with a team that was willing to adapt to his idealism of the way the game should be played. Not many were moaning then.

This season has seen a drop off in performance levels from too many players to think its all down to the manager. Some are now effectively looking for the exit door.

Giving Pellers another shot with fresh players who are willing to work cohesively again, might result in additional silverware.

Time will tell.

How many fresh players though? Even with a cull of the current squad do we still think MP will inspire the few players we keep for next season?

I think the team has lost confidence with him.

Managers have to be moved on sometimes, time to let him go.

Dont disagree with your point. Just thinking aloud and what the board might be thinking

He's just told the German media "of course i'll be here next season".

To be fair, not going to say anything other than that at this stage, is he?

Absolutely. Just wanted to stick his quote up here because I guess it's sort of relevant.

So many cards in play it's untrue.

I'm enjoying it, going to be a quality summer.

Didn't play that much sublime stuff after Christmas in fairness and still failed to win games that were big I.e Liverpool away or either game against Chelsea in the league. Pathetic in fa cup as well and hardly dazzled against Sunderland in the cup final.

Going to be an uncomfortable press conference for Pellegrini

Someone should ask him will he resign and if not why not? I don't believe he even thinks he can regain control of the situation.

Guardiola leaving was a long shot, but speculation will bubble until the return leg of the Champions League

If it was Mancini (for example) in this position, then it would be an interesting (and entertaining) press conference.

With Pello, it'll just be the same as all his other press conferences, i.e. a cure for insomnia.

Pep was always going to say he stays another year if he does or not may be out of his hands but personally I am sold on Klopp and he would be the one I hope we get and this summer.

Guardiola holds his presser right now.

Guardiola: - Of course I will stay here next season

Fecking shizer autobahn

Klopps my first choce anyway, he could create the dynasty we crave

Pep's still my first choice but I would be delighted with either of them getting the role. I do think Klopp is the more appealing personality wise and would be a great fit for the club but I still give Pep the technical edge.

What we think does not matter; know what Txiki will do if he has the choice.
