Would be devastating to miss out on a top manager (Klopp for me) in favour of keeping Pellegrini.

Not just devastating but absolutely fucking stupid, as well.

It won't be in favour of keeping Pellegrini, it'll be in favour of getting the world's most successful coach of recent years next summer. One who suits our Club's vision and footballing philosophy more than Klopp. I do not like the idea of 'treading water' for a year, but it might be worth it for the long-term benefits and 'feelosophee' of the club. In the meantime we may have to find a good interim like Rafa, as I'm not sure about Pellegrini's tactical acumen for big games.

The guardiola bit is for sure, arse finishing second will secure Wenger, without the fa cup, and certainly with it, (unless he has other plans). We just have to assume Pep has agreed to come in 2016 or else why would the club be so reluctant to hold off on a long-term appointment? Surely we cannot be so incompetent that we're running the club on a 'chance' of something happening. Would Khaldoon stand for this?

Totally agree mate, if he's that good a friend of Txiki he wouldn't hesitate in coming to us for the start of next season- if he's that intent on doing another year at Bayern out of vanity and "loyalty" to them then he isn't the man for us.

He should be coming on our say so and not his.

Worst case scenario next August but one that is not as far fetched as it may seem.

Chelsea..Mourinho
Arsenal..Guardiola
United.Van Gaal
City..Pellegrini
Liverpool..Klopp

Wenger is probably safe and maybe Pep won't get sacked. But I wouldn't discount him preferring to live in London if he becomes available.

Bodgers may well get the bullet and Klopp seems to me like a Liverpool hero in the waiting. Klopp conversely could go to the gunners with Benitez resurfacing at Anfield.

Any which way you cut it, keeping Pellegrini looks a pretty risky option with all this managerial talent in the mix.

Why so? Mou and LVG and Pellegrini are already in place and Klopp will be in England next season. Maybe Guardiola is far fetched but unless you have better information, ludicrous I don't think so.
