There's a brilliant new vodaphone advert, complimented by the wonderful dmx

Is that you 33 seconds in? (:
Well that's not her at 45 seconds, Pellegrini doesn't have it in him apparently.

He doesn't.

So say we keep mp for next year because pep has said yes for the season after and we fall out of the top 4, i can't see pep coming for the europa league somehow

The whole scenario is dangerous. Ancelotti or Klopp, now.

Also, quite ribald from Vodafone imo

It won't be in favour of keeping Pellegrini, it'll be in favour of getting the world's most successful coach of recent years next summer. One who suits our Club's vision and footballing philosophy more than Klopp. I do not like the idea of 'treading water' for a year, but it might be worth it for the long-term benefits and 'feelosophee' of the club. In the meantime we may have to find a good interim like Rafa, as I'm not sure about Pellegrini's tactical acumen for big games.

that is just pie in the sky stuff, if Guardiola wants the job we need him now not 2-3 yearss from now, we cannot afford to stop moving forward, keeping Pellegrini while one of the best manegers is available is just pure madness.

We just have to assume Pep has agreed to come in 2016 or else why would the club be so reluctant to hold off on a long-term appointment? Surely we cannot be so incompetent that we're running the club on a 'chance' of something happening. Would Khaldoon stand for this?

Even waiting a year would be a huge risk, we need a top tier maneger now imo.

I'm actually quite disgusted that Zimmer actually posted a filthy Vodafone advert on here. I thought he was better than that ;)

The guardiola bit is for sure, arse finishing second will secure Wenger, without the fa cup, and certainly with it, (unless he has other plans). The rest I can see, can't see Rodgers surviving the summer personally, just hope our interest was someone on the wum, but I think well stick it out for pep, who will then turn us down anyway.

Wenger is one of the most powerful men at arsenal, he'll go when he decides, not because they end up empty handed!!!
Absolutely, he'll know when his time is up there, and go (be given another role). The link to arsenal for klopp is unlikely, and speculation that pep be there next season is as you said ludicrous.

Pep will either be at Bayern, or take another year off. Much as he fits a couple of our directors, were not his sort of club, he'll pitch in greater Manchester one day, but I doubt it'll be in the real city, except on derby day.

Would be devastating to miss out on a top manager (Klopp for me) in favour of keeping Pellegrini.

Not just devastating but absolutely fucking stupid, as well.

The other side of this is that Klopp may not even be available. He could be leaving Dortmund because he already has a commitment from another club. For example, Wenger might be retiring at the end of the season and they have approached him and he is watching the ink dry on his contract. City may not have failed to get him he may have been unattainable, we have to remember we know nothing that goes on behind the scenes so maybe we shouldn't be so quick to judge.
