Its shite that's what it is.

My opinion!

And I respect your right to it gobby. Some of you lot really do hunt in packs don't you? Express an opinion one of you disagrees with and you're all at it. Forums are for discussion. I wasn't slagging txixi off. I was giving an explanation why some people don't laud him in the way others do.

@bondsman Love the crying about it being a forum and for discussion yet as soon as someone disagrees with what you say, your opinion and expresses that, their own opinion you cry like a fucking baby.

I am liking Txiki's work more and more each day. Each player that is coming in is an upgrade on the one that's left. He is building an almighty team, and one which I strongly believe is going to challenge for the Champions League title.

The Sterling deal was the toughest in my mind, some people seem to think it started this summer when he said he wanted to leave Liverpool and he just wanted to join City. In reality it must have been going on since last summer with lots of discussions with his agent. He has convinced him through a combination of professional and financial rewards to turn his back on Liverpool against huge pressure from that club, media etc. 12 months ago no-one saw Sterling coming all the talk was Barkley (who I don't think would be anywhere near as good). Make no mistake we needed home grown players and Sterling was probably our number 1 target (only Bale I can see as a better home grown target) and both Chelsea or Arsenal would have loved him, to get him is some acheivement. The KDB and Pogba situation both seem very complex and to get both of these was always unlikely if he does get one I think he has done very well. As much as we don't like to hear it we do need to improve in Europe and start reaching quaters/ semi's on a regular basis and I think that would make Tixi's job slightly easier.

Really does feel like we're building something stronger and more versatile than the previous side, particularly with regards European competition.

With regards Txiki, it's difficult to argue against the idea that as Ric put it earlier, it's been an exceptional window. But more importantly, and the thing which will probably go totally unnoticed by some of our supporters and the wider watching world is the fact that all these players only wanted City. Sterling, De Bruyne, Otamendi, these guys could literally have had their pick of Europe's top clubs. The fact they chose to come to City is IMO due not just to where the club is at and where it's going, but the person doing the selling. If you're Kevin DeBruyne and his agent or Sterling and his agent and you're talking to Txiki the footballing conversation is going to be a lot more impressive than if you're sat in front of the Russian lady who does Chelsea's deals or Ed Woodward or the old fella that Arsenal have doing their deals.

As the season unfolds, if it goes the way I expect it to go, then I reckon people in the wider footballing world will be lauding Txiki come the turn of the year.

He's gonna get a new contract at the end of this window.

Have another read mate I said until he signs. If he does get one of those signings over the line many people's opinion will change. Valencia owed us money so the otamendi deal seems pretty straight forward. As I've stated in the otamendi thread think that's a great signing but not one that will have been difficult.

PMSL!!!!!!

Your ignorance is hilarious. Classic forum mind-boggling nonsense.

"You know you owe us all that dosh. Well give us Otamendi and we'll call it quits".
