Until he lands kdb or the pog he will still be scrutinised simply because those two are the difficult transfers. Neither player wants to leave and neither club needs to sell. People will argue sterling, Delph and otamendi did not need much skill at the negotiating table. Think I'd be one of them to be fair though I'm not saying they aren't good additions. I'd just like us to sign a galactico as we did with yaya and aguero. Think we may need one in midfield to conquer Europe.

What the hell? KDB have just informed Wolfsburg that he wants to leave for MCFC. So he doesn't deserve any credit for landing targets up to now? Pogba might not come not because Txiki can't close the deal, but because of stupid image rights issues. Otamendi transfer didn't need much skill? We got him for under his release clause, which is not easy by any means considering Valencia refused to sell all summer because they were demanding his clause.

So if he lands KDB he doesn't deserve credit for that either because he wanted to leave?

Have another read mate I said until he signs. If he does get one of those signings over the line many people's opinion will change. Valencia owed us money so the otamendi deal seems pretty straight forward. As I've stated in the otamendi thread think that's a great signing but not one that will have been difficult.
