One of the first posts on the last Txiki thread was me slagging the fella off for not delivering.....

Fuck me am I a daft ****. Txiki has delivered and then some in this transfer window. Amazing stuff.

The doubts over Txiki over the last two years in corners of our fanbase have not reflected well on football fans in general. I really hope that the scales have fallen from a few eyes with regards to the quality we now have right through our club.

We are entering a new era again. This is going to be an unparalleled period of success and domination for MCFC. Txiki is only part of that but by God it's been refreshing to see us do business with class this summer. Sorry to keep repeating myself, but nobody seems to get it: the fact that we squeezed out all the competition with all these top players, by tying them down first, has been incredible.

The future is finally here. The sheikh's vision is taking shape and the Champions League is next.

I hope those referred to in the part that I have highlighted are man/woman enough to get on here quickly and state clearly that they were well wrong - and totally OTT in the way they slagged him off

The kid had his hands tied with FFP.

With that now defeated and our full financial power at his disposal he's handled the situation with aplomb.

An exquisite window. Not one team dared to step to us regarding any of our targets. No **** even dared look at us funny.

Proof (if ever any was needed) that FFP was designed purely to stop us.

This guy (and the other's who run things) never let it. They took the 'pinch' and humoured it whilst in undoubtedly slowed us. Ultimately they've brought us out of the other side and delivered the best young player in England, the best player in Germany, the best CB in Spain, a hugely under rated England midfielder (for peanuts), and 2 very promising young lads.
