I enjoy watching the contract singing vines because Txiki doesn't have a scooby what camera to be looking at.

Sacked Mancini, appointed Pellegrini, signed Otamendi, De Bruyne, Sterling, Mangala, navigated FFP, got our premier players to sign new deals. Even got Mr Birthday cake back onside. Seriously what's not to like. The guy has delivered in spades as most of us expected him to. Happy fucking days.

Not forgetting Fernandinho

Just another guy passing through to voice my appreciation for Txiki, did one hell of a job this window, can't imagine having to deal with Liverpool and Allofs in person when they're already so unbearable in the media.

I find it incredible that anyone would doubt our owner and his advisors.......there's a glaringly obvious reason that each and every one of our management team is here, they are the very best at what they do - the elite - Txiki, amongst others,is proof of that and it's quite staggering that anyone would think otherwise.

I fookin love this club more than ever!

As Ric said a week or so ago, landing De Bruyne would and has made this window incredible. The squad suddenly feels strong, really really strong. Strong enough to fear nobody in world football.

What Txiki has done, and we've been saying it all summer, is ensure that he has been in a one club auction for all the players he's wanted. Sterling, De Bruyne,
Delph - all were only every City bound. That is an incredible achievement in an age when there's so much competition for top players.

The other thing which is worth saying again, we identified our targets early and put the work in. It's a fact that often times so called big clubs will simply go after a player as and when they want them and think that the money/kudos will be enough. But as Bayern have found out this summer with De Bruyne and Chelsea with Sterling, when you come against an organisation which is doing the leg work months in advance, you can't get away with that and you won't get the player.

And yet some choose to believe otherwise.....no other suitors,coincidence......its bizarre thinking at best.

We've very much adopted the marathon rather than sprint approach and its worked a fookin treat.
