well 2bh, I'd judge Pelle on that. That's his remit after all, how they perform on the pitch.

Then he'll obviously need to be judged on how the next window goes because anybody could see how obvious it is these would be a success.

It's called moving the goalposts and people do it all the time.

The fact is that it doesn't matter whether these players are a success or not because this is not his job. It is the manager's job to ensure he gets the best out of players in the squad, it's Txiki's squad to give him those players.

You'll need to visit the MP thread to update your assessment criteria because it's not in Txiki's job description for them to perform on the pitch.

It's fair enough that the signings have to prove themselves on the pitch, but I don't see how anyone could have too many complaints at this moment in time. Personally I would have preferred a playmaker over Otamendi and Delph but I'm delighted with the squad as it stands.
