disgusting...

if people who pay there money then we are surely allowed to voice an opinion. mancini got it wrong and frustrated fans let him know i. But i bet those fans will be there next home and away games showing there support

I can relate to the quoted post below. I was there today, season ticket in 109 and that first half made my fucking eyes bleed. I don't think i have felt as bad since we went down under Royle in the Premier League.

I stopped at every pub on the way home for a pint and reflection, and i'm still no closer to thinking where we go from here.

People will say i'm being over dramatic, but i have been very patient with Mancini before this game (see my post history if you want to). But i think he is set in his ways and just isn't adapting to the English game.

We are crying out for a Berkovic, Benayoun, Bernarbia (come around every decade) player. Central midfield playmaker. Silva does his work in the final third. If Yaya does not have a good game, we are fucked. I said Yaya would be the key player for us this season, and he is not delivering. When he goes on those driving runs, box to box, we push on and win. When he is a dilly dallying, strolling, pass sideways inept, we struggle as there is a huge hole in the middle.

My bit anyway, and the reasons why i did booo. Along with Ticket for Shalke shouting that i am an arsehole in front of the whole of block 110. Might have to blow that bumfluff off his face if he crosses me again!

I have defended Mancini against the 'sack him' boys and will continue to do so but that does not mean that he is beyond criticism

That was terrible.

Three holding midfielders AT HOME AGAINST BIRMINGHAM FFS, no pace, no width, one striker and he was playing far too deep, appalling substitutions which signalled that he was happy with a point.....no SWP, sadly no prospect of Bellers appearing in a game that cried out for him, no Ade, RSC!!!!, and boring as hell to watch....really really boring

If you weren't there then you really can't condemn someone for booing.

I understand why they booed. We should be higher in the league than we are and the fault is the managers. He is too defensive and too cautious by far. This is losing us points and probably cost us a cup final last year.

He needs to adapt and fast or the clamour for his head may become too loud to ignore.

What does booing actually accomplish!!! If we got a goal right at the end there would be no booing so Is it the so called boring football or we didn't win?!

WHAT'S THAT THEN? DEMANDING MORE? NOT STANDING FOR NEGATIVE DRIVEL AT HOME? SINGING A PLAYER'S NAME WHO ALWAYS GAVE HIS ALL FOR US?

Yes and we should support our manager because he can wear a scarf in a nifty way.
He almost got his tactics spot on today and on Wednesday evening, but how was he to know that the rags and Brummies wouldnt be put to sleep by the borefest on show.

Still, at least we dont have any of those fancy dan types like Kinkladze, Peter Barnes, David White etc that used to try and beat a man and create a chance, and some of them wouldnt even track back enough.

I thought the people who booed at half-time were idiots but I think the ones at full-time had their right to! I think the booing was worse because of how much people were disgraced with Barry/Tevez sub....you could see the disappointment when fans started singing Bellamy's name; I did too!

for the one fan that said 'our fans our wank sometimes' - they paid to watch that shit. No urgency - nothing direct when we brought rocky on....terrible subs...terrible starting line up

Milner wasted on the wing and barry should have started for yaya.

Crap

I don't think Mancini was as negative as he has been today, what's more worrying is that when he tries to set the team up to be more attacking, they look like they're never going to score and have looked dodgy at the back.
Today was sad because it's the day I started to pity Mancini and feel embarrassed by some of the goons that support us!

who gives a flying fuck if people booed today? they can if they want, they paid the money and can do as they like. they have every right to, we couldnt score against a shite birmingham team. grow up OP

I didn't boo at half time or full time. But I certainly did when he took off Tevez for Barry as did most of the rest of the ground.

The one thing we expect as City fans is that we give it a go. We love a trier like Dickov or Goater. We love someone like Andy Morrison, who took the side by the scruff of the neck by sheer force of character. None of them outstanding footballers in any conventional sense but all of them crowd favourites because they never gave up. We all love Tevez & De Jong in the current squad because they're the natural successors to the Goat, Dickov & Morrison. They make the side tick (and look how we missed them when they were both out at Wolves).

And then we see a gutless, shithouse of a manager take off a player like that and replace him with a defensive midfield player when we're 0-0 against a side in 17th place with a few minutes to go.

There's all sorts of glib talk about the fans being the soul of the club but it's true and today we were trying to save that soul. That's why we boo and we've every fucking right because that Italian tosser is taking away what makes us City.

If players on over 100 grand a week can't handle a response from the paying support when they don't deliver then they have no business in football, at this level at least.
