Of course Abu Dhabi sponsor City, they are our only source of income.

It’s an interesting debate that us and Newcastle feel the need to justify our sponsorships and their country of origin. The likes of Liverpool and United don’t feel any similar need to explain huge deals with US corporations… we need to refuse to be drawn in by this bullshit - the UK government doesn’t feel the need to justify its lucrative deals with the middle east - so why should City.
