I had the same experience at the Chelsea game when it was absolutely sheeting it down. when I questioned it due to the weather I was refused entry and only allowed in when I called a supervisor over…Arrogant twatsSame, I had to unzip my outer jacket, then my black City body warmer until my blue shirt was showing…..where has this all come from ? When I asked why, the steward replied “because I told you so “

Each stairway is policed by 2 stewards. Sounds like you had an over officious, jobsworth of a steward. Certainly when I was going to take my seat the entrance was extremely busy. It would have caused problems if they started to try and check each person's ticket. Maybe as you were entering the stairway it was quieter? There was about 6 of them blocking the entrance checking tickets mate and people were complaining but they were very adamant that they were checking all tickets.Each stairway is policed by 2 stewards. Sounds like you had an over officious, jobsworth of a steward. Certainly when I was going to take my seat the entrance was extremely busy. Rabid Islamists roam our cities celebrating terrorist atrocities and calling for the murder of Jews with impunity yet football fans continue to be the softest of targets for over zealous authority figures. Calling all barrack room lawyers please ….. how can it be proven that he was mocking a plane crash or that offence was intended or even which plane crash he was referencing.

All I know is mine wasn't checked and it didn't appear as if they were checking anybody else's. See how you get on at the next match. Anybody doing stupid shit these days with all the CCTV and camera phones around is dumb as fuck. It looked half empty where he was so he was easy to spot. Somebody, probably a rag, just videoed him, posted it on X and copied GMP in and asked what were they going to do about it. Job done.
