Do our stewards only hassle Blues

About 5 different companies plus what works for club direct, when I worked for Showsec jobs are listed and you only pick what you want so very rare you'll get staff who aren't in management structure working all 19

Don’t get me wrong, most of the stewards outside the ground are very nice. They are pleasant, ask you nicely to be checked, and they do a fast check. Unfortunately there are some stewards who are totally OTT when it comes to to checking, and go beyond what they are entitled to do by law.

If I manhandled a customer where I work, even touching them innocently, I could get into trouble.

yep they do.

But I know of two stewards in CB3 who have had enough of the way City are doing things over tickets.

Having watched Nothing to Declare since retiring I’m sure if anyone in an airport or otherwise wants to escalate a search to the point whereby they require you to start unzipping clothing you have a legal right to demand the process to be carried out in a private room/area not that it bothers me just need to get in the ground but be interesting to get a legal perspective on how far these stewards are allowed to go

After being "wanded" at the Feyenoord game I was then asked to confirm that I wasn't Dutch.

When I replied "What?" he let me through without further probing.
