Do our stewards only hassle Blues

Minimum wage, maximum rage.
Some do great jobs and build rapport, as many have done for decades. These in and out types reflect the casual terms they're signed on. If City had sense, they'd recruit the best and retain them. How's the reward? 12 quid an hour and a meal?

The standard has seriously dropped. IQs too.

worked till 7:30 in green quarter other side of town last night so a mad rush to get there for kick off, got off the tram dead on 8 then you hit the stupid barriers that take half way up the bridge for no reason.
run round to P and get tgere about 7 mins past, stewards turning away fans (even though one turnstile was open) tellingeveryone the scanners are off and use the west door asked where tgat is he paointed and saud that way and ind it yourself, the unhelpful tosser
Head to the west door or S are it is actually called and a que getting security checked and scanned with a hald held, scanner wasn't working so some big burley head steward telling everyone they had to rescan on a wall scanner also not reading cards.

I said to him heres me card mate and its nearly 15 mins into the game, his reply don't care until scanned no one can go in, as the area was now filling up I just walked round him and into the concourse uttering useless cunts to myself.

Why the fuck are all the turnstiles being shut dead on kick off causing no end of mither for those late through no fault of their own always 15 min grace before and at other grpunds.

on an aside as I walked uo from the tram plenty of the stewards amd turnstile staff are all in city square tucking into burgers with more walking up, got me thinking they shut up quick to get a scran and fuck the fans.

we have had a senior steward in our section for many seasons and always say hello. This bloke next to me last night was a mate of the season card holder who has been there since we moved who was next to him. No problems I thought, both blokes probably late 60’s or early 70’s. Anyway the mate of the regular bloke says at the start of the game that all the goals in the first half would be at our end (I sit towards the family stand end). Thought that’s odd then thought maybe he is referring to Spurs hitting us on the break as normal
so thought nothing of it. Then on the odd occasion Spurs attacked he takes out his phone to take photos. Beginning to annoy me now. Then about the ad hoarding, he says ‘your ads are broken’. This confirms it that he is a Spurs fan but he is mainly be respectful. They score and he claps his hands loudly and shouts yes. Woman in front of him turns around as if she is about to clock him. Second goes in and his claps and screams get a bit louder although at least he doesn’t jump up. More people look around at him. Half time comes and I am straight to the steward to report him. I go for a piss and steward tells me they spoke to him but he claimed to be just a football fan and he doesn’t support Spurs. I tell him that 100% he does. Funnily enough for a football fan there wasn’t one bit of emotion when we kept scoring. Stewards were fine but to be fair but hard to drag someone out when they deny everything. Hope the football fan had a pleasant journey home, twat.

Everyone should've just piled on him when the 3rd went in, he wouldn't have made that mistake again.

We're seen as a bit of a soft touch these days, need to start reminding a lot people of who the fuck we are

To be honest I've never had an issue with them, I just wish they would enforce the smoking ban (block 109/10 toilets) it's getting bloody ridiculous in there now, you can't even get in to the toilets for smokers blocking the entrance

Given his age I thought better of it. I think the fact that we won ruined his night as he was all jolly at half time

Don’t know what happened in 215 ( that’s a guess btw ) but if the guy with the beard is looking in , fair fucks berated one of the stewards and I thought he was gonna chin him till the stewards boss got involved , never had a problem in 217 the stewards basically leave us to it .
