Do United and Arsenal have 'special relationship' ?

From the Sun, they're planning a Poznan. What a touching gesture..

ARSENAL fans are threatening to turn their backs on Manchester United if the champions are given a guard of honour at the Emirates on Sunday.
Supporters are ready to do a ‘Poznan’ and they have also warned former skipper Robin van Persie could get an ‘horrendous’ reception.
Fans’ forums were last night urging a boycott of the tribute by taking a leaf out of Manchester City’s book.
Many are annoyed by boss Arsene Wenger’s recent admission he knew United would win the title when he sold them the Dutch striker last summer.
Pete Wood, from Arsenal blog The Grove, warned: “Van Persie is going to get an horrendous reception.
“Every touch is going to be booed because no one can forgive him for the way he left.
“The club stood by him during his first seven years when he was always injured. Then he has one good season and suddenly he wants to leave.
“It was the way Van Persie manipulated the move and his lack of loyalty which has upset Arsenal supporters.”
The champions have traditionally been clapped on to the pitch the game after clinching the title. United did it for Chelsea in 2005 and for Arsenal back in 1991.

Both clubs changed names and moved from their roots

Both clubs have benefited from outside finance but seek to prevent others from doing the same

Both clubs run by people more interested in profit than football

Both sets of fans come from London

Both sets of fans are utterly detestable *****

Both clubs and the fans of both clubs suffer from a huge sense of entitlement

Hypocrisy is the motto of both clubs

Has anyone actually seen Arsenal and the rags in the same room together ?
BRILLIANT

Yes they do, but does it really matter.Lets face it where never going to be popular with Arsenal when we buy their best players.

What if we had signed RVP? That would be an unusual amount of players to move from one club to another, based on the players we've signed from them in recent years. We didn't though, he wanted to go to united and unless I'm missing something that makes just one player to move from arsenal to united in recent times compared to the several we gave signed.

Just like the UK and USA in politics I think we are seeing something along the same lines in football. Arsenal and United are established part of the old guard with large stadiums hence their determination to push through the FFPR.

The RVP deal sits a little uneasy with me I believe Wenger handed RVP to United in return for United to back them to the hilt with FFPR.

It will be very interesting to see if RVP plays against Arsenal on Sunday and if United throw the game as I believe they will do to assist their friends Champions League push.

What the actual fuck £24 million for a 29yr old is handing them a player

-- Fri Apr 26, 2013 6:52 am --

Did Southampton clap us on to the pitch?
