Do United and Arsenal have 'special relationship' ?

A special relationship between Arsenal & United because Arsenal sold them a 29yr old for £24m, even though City had a bid for them accepted? All this following on from Arsenal selling Clichy, Adebayor, Kolo Toure and Nasri to City in the preceeding years.

Fuck me. You really couldn't make this shit up.

This is an absolute belter.

I don't think we had a bid accepted did we?

According to plenty, it was a done deal before he decided to go to United.

Many differing thoughts as to why he decided on United.

Lack of competition for a starting spot?
Maybe just decided United the better option?

I don't know, but I'm fairly sure both City, United and Juve had bids accepted.

Nice one mate. It really is piss funny.

They have more of a relationship now Wenger's head is permanently wedged up Fergie's arse.

Giving United a fecking Guard of Honour at The Emirates this weekend. Where the fuck was ours?!

We didn't win the league with games to spare, otherwise we would have had one if we wanted.

If we hadn't have been taken over and been winning trophies, but RVP still moved to OT, not one person on here would say there was a 'special relationship'. It's just another example of the utter paranoia that has, for some reason, taken over certain fans of ours.

You cannot deny, surely, the reduced levels of antipathy between united and Arsenal since 2008.

Both clubs changed names and moved from their roots

Both clubs have benefited from outside finance but seek to prevent others from doing the same

Both clubs run by people more interested in profit than football

Both sets of fans come from London

Both sets of fans are utterly detestable *****

Both clubs and the fans of both clubs suffer from a huge sense of entitlement

Hypocrisy is the motto of both clubs

Has anyone actually seen Arsenal and the rags in the same room together ?

Fucking class.

Do you not think that could be down to Arsenal no longer having the ability to sustain a credible title challenge, compared with what their rivalry used to be like when Arsenal were challenging?
