Its great being a blue as Cheesy always says , the success really is just the icing on the cake , most of us have seen the tough times and the dross served up but weirdly it never spoiled my enjoyment of watching our club. Supporting City was handed down from my father , and now my sons and grandson support the club you dont really get a say in the matter , but i enjoyed victories in the third tier and the championship just as much as the premier league.
Its about getting behind the lads wearing the shirt the counts , when i used to watch Andy Morrison playing committed football wearing his heart on his sleeve it is no different to me than watching Ruben Dias because they both play like they care about the club as much as like i do.Just different levels.
Accusing the older generation blues of negativity is not right ,but maybe our fans from circa 2010 onwards are the issue because if any of them are negative they need a collective kick up the arse , in the words of Harold McMillan............................. we have never had it so good
