Do you care about being considered a 'big' team?

Manchester City, forever and always
All across social media, rags, dips, tarquins and the odd villa, spurs etc supporter will call us a small team and say we'll never be as big as united/their team/in general no matter what we do.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have and probably will never care about being a 'big' team. I've seen what being a 'big' team means. It mean being like the red shirt cartel.

We have solid local support, and that's something I appreciate the most about us. Salt of the earth Mancunians, and even surrounding areas that have been going for years and supporting us at rock bottom. Supporters of those teams say they've been there for the downs, but their downs are finishing midtable, ours were Division 2 and the fabled York City result. They don't get it, and never will.

But what are your thoughts?

No, not in the slightest, City not being a big club is just one of many lies and mistruths spouted on social media. No fans - not true, no history - not true, cheats - not - true. You can repeat anything these days and dickheads will believe it.

Saying that I put ourselves in the group outside the red clubs, and I’m absolutely fine with that.

It's taken a while not to get pissed off about it but now I don't care. Just show them these and go about my day.

We are neck and neck with Madrid for bringing in the most revenues in the sport. We bring in more revenue than United. It is inarguable that we are a big club.

But we (allegedly) have no fanbase, but oddly enough we only have glory hunters that support us, but at the same time we (supposedly) can't fill our stadium?

Are we schrodingers football supporters? Are we truly not really here?
