Do You Fondly Remember Your First Pair Of Football Boots?

Me - I'm from the USA. Played my first football at roughly age 6 - mostly because I was jealous of my younger brother playing football.

I've no clue what football shoes I wore.

I do remember though - in the USA - at youth level - screw-in cleats were not allowed (at least in the San Francisco Bay Area at that time). I remember referees checking everyone's cleats before gametime to enforce this rule.

Are screw-in cleats allowed in the UK?

Used to get hand downs, report a pair pf Patrick when yellow stripes. 1st new pair of my own were Adidas Valencia. Later picked up a pair of Adidas Hat Trick at a bargain price from the boxes on the floor in Tyldsey and Holbrook on Deansgate. Seem to remember they didnt come with a box. Great boots but wasted on me. Like buying a top of the range guitar when not being able to play guitar.
