Do you have a favourite ever goal?

Many favourite goals already mentioned but I’ll go for kiddos late equaliser at trafford in a 2-2 draw 1978. City came back from 2-0 down and I can still see kiddo with arms aloft running along the Stretford end. A goal that the media wanted to forget, being scored by an ex man u European cup winner, of course.
Didn't go to that one but lover Roger Palmer's equaliser a couple of years later.

Favourite ever?
Tueart 's bicycle kick v Newcastle Utd at Wembley.

Recent?
Aguero's impossible angle goal v Liverpool.
Kompany's blockbuster vs Leicester.
Ya Ya's surging run v Villa.
KDB's free kick under the wall v Cardiff. This free kick changed football. - a defender now lies down at the bottom of the wall for free kicks.

Played on an absolute ice rink of a pitch. Watson og gave those cunts a very late equaliser- that and the disallowed goal at Ipswich could have seen us win the league.
That was a year earlier, we finished runners up that season, 77 78 think we finished 4th.

My memory is shocking but hopefully others can confirm this.

Kinkladze vs Leicester.

It was a night game IIRC and the pitch was dodgy even by our standards at the time. Might have been in the cup. He picked the ball up in his own half and instead of jinking around a bunch of players like in the famous goal against Southampton, he just charged directly at their centre mids and centre backs who were absolutely shit scared of him, the stroked it into the bottom corner. I was usually in the North Stand at the time but for whatever reason, we were in the posh seats in the Main Stand and I remember thinking that this was peak football.
I’m also unsure of my memory but wasn’t that Ingebrigtsen in 1994?

Not my favourite goal but I always remember Geoff Hammond scoring from what seemed the half way line at the time a proper rocket shot north stand end Maine rd around 74/75 ive never seen a recording of this and sometimes wonder if I imagined it.
You didn't. I was stood in the corner of the kippax, Platt Lane end with my dad, remember the wind seemed to catch it and took it away from the keeper. Was a long way out!

Don’t think it’s been mentioned yet but I’ll always remember Trevor Francis on his debut at Stoke. Wonderful individual goal. It was clear we’d signed a superstar and were about to take on the league!

It has to be Aguero v QPR goal to win the title ( stupendous) but you have to give a mention Kompany's top bin goal v Leicester which was so important at the time.

The Shauny Wright one where he made a mug of Scholes and smashed it in off the bar was gold.
Love that goal all the more because a guy who sits near me had £50 quid on City to win 3-1 with Fowler first goal. He swore like a trooper when that goal went in, guy behind thought he was a rag and it all got a bit heated for a while. Always reminds me of that when they show the goal

Not the most significant goal, but Sergio’s first goal in his last appearance against Everton. Everything about it, first time back at the Etihad as we emerged from COVID, Sergio doing what he did best, title presentation to follow. I rarely get emotional, but I hadn’t totally got it back together by the time he headed in his second.

Rodri in Istanbul and Sergio 93:20 seem like obvious ones I wasn’t at either though.

Gundo after 13 seconds or the Vinnie header against rags when we won 1-0 at home in 2011-12 are the best I’ve experienced live.

The first goal I witnessed live was from Kiki Musampa against Middlesbrough in 2005 and that was a great goal. Will always be special for me.

following todays news of losing 2 City legends i'm going to mention the goal scored by Gundo v Spurs in 2020/21 season when Ederson plays it long to him , then Gundo turns putting Spurs defender face first on floor before finishing
